One way to learn more about the global orphan crisis is to see it firsthand via a short-term mission trip. There are many organizations and churches that offer the opportunity to "visit orphans and widows in their distress" (James 1:27) and to serve in various ways. Here are just some of the many organizations that facilitate overseas missions to serve orphans in particular and the poor more broadly. Some of these organizations are based right here on the Gold Coast!
