Jon-Ryan and Christy Schlobohm

We became parents to our son and daughter, twins from Ethiopia, in 2009. Our road to adoption began with several years of trying to have biological children. As a part of this process, God showed us that adoption could be a "Plan A" for us. Our adoption experience instilled in us a passion for outreach to orphans. We will be bringing home two more children from Ethiopia in the future and look forward to continuing our ministry to this amazing country. Christy serves as Co-Director for the Gold Coast Orphan Alliance and handles merchandising for our Benevolent Bazaars. Jon-Ryan is spearheading GCOA's research into on-the-ground orphan care projects in Africa and works developing funding for GCOA through community donors.
