Sarah and Davis Hock

We are blessed to be the adoptive parents of two daughters from Ethiopia. We were inspired to adopt after watching a family at our church add a fourth child to their family, a daughter adopted from Uganda. After much research and prayer, it became obvious that God called us to begin our family through adoption. Even though we had never tried to have biological children, we knew that adoption was God's "Plan A" for our family. For us, adoption is about being the hands and feet of Jesus and putting our faith into action. We feel strongly that we have been given much and adoption has allowed us to share God's blessings with two of His precious children. We look forward to welcoming home two more daughters and a son from Ethiopia later this spring. Sarah is a college professor and serves as the Executive Director for the Gold Coast Orphan Alliance. She also writes a blog and speaks on the topics of orphan care, adoption and outreach to Africa. Davis is an engineer and provides the Alliance with technical support as the Webmaster as well as logistical support. He is also proud to be the dad to his girls.
